Beach clean up this Monday morning at Ao Nang front beach 3 fully loaded bags I found too.
I collected at least 10 of the face masks you can spot in the video.

Lots of it was one time use plastic cups forks and plates and not old so I guess it was thrown away a few days ago most of it I found close to the beach wall so I guess people sit on the edge and just are so lazy that they throw it on to the beach instead of the provided bins. Seems like it got worse with the new market.
