I did a beginner diving course and my friend did three fun dives. We both really liked it and would definitely recommend the Poseidon Diving School in Ao Nang.
The diving teacher spoke English very well, but also tried to organise a diving teacher in our native language. We are German and had a German teacher, while another person was French and had a French diving teacher.
In general all teachers were very nice and the whole tour very well organised.
After we were picked up from our hotel in the morning we drove to a bay to take a small boat to the actual big diving boat.
In the beginning everyone got a little introduction, while I got one more introduction because I was the only one who did a beginners course.
Before going under water, my (personal) diving teacher Andy went through all possibilities with me (e.g. You lose your diving glasses or air) until I felt secure and comfortable to start. Also during the dives I felt very secure, because Andy was always next to me and regularly checked if I’m okay.
In between the dives there was really tasty Thai food and snacks and drinks were always available.
All in all it was a great day and my friend and I would definitely do it again when going back Ao Nang.

Super Tauchschule unter deutscher Leitung, super Organisation und Ausrüstung!
Ich habe einen Schnupperkurs gemacht und meine Freundin 3 Tauchgänge an einem Tag. Wir waren beide super begeistert und können die Poseidon Tauchschule in Ao Nang aufjedenfall weiter empfehlen. Alles war super gut organisiert und die Tauchlehrer super nett.
Der Besitzer kommt aus Deutschland und dort arbeiten auch noch weitere deutsche Tauchlehrer, was einen sicherer fühlen lässt wenn man wie ich zum ersten Mal tauchen war. Nach dem wir früh morgens vom Hotel abgeholt wurden sind wir zum Hafen gefahren und von dort mit einem kleinen Boot zu dem eigentlichen Boot gefahren. Erstmal haben alle eine kleine Einführung und danach hatte ich, weil ich als einzige das Schnuppertauchen gemacht habe, noch eine weitere Einführung. Bevor es dann richtig los ging hat mein Tauchlehrer Andy, der auch nur für mich zuständig war, nochmal alle Szenarien mit mir geübt bis ich sicher genug war und wir unter Wasser gehen konnten. Vor dem Tauchen hatte ich etwas Respekt vor der Vorstellung lange Zeit unter Wasser zu sein, aber dadurch dass wir alles vorher geübt haben und mein Tauchlehrer immer dicht neben mir war, ging es dann super.
Zwischen den Tauchgängen gab es dann leckeres Thai Essen auf dem Boot und Snacks zwischendurch.
Alles in allem, war es ein super Tag und wir würden aufjedenfall wieder kommen wenn wir nochmal in Ao Nang sind.
